Transforming loneliness into connection

We deliver projects that respond to local needs in Tower Hamlets and help people build connections within their community

We create opportunities for people to feel seen, valued and connected

Through a rich mix of wellbeing, creative, educational and social activities, we bring neighbours together and celebrate our differences. By encouraging participation from people of all backgrounds, we help build a community that is not only diverse, but deeply connected.

Our work is shaped by the real and pressing needs we see around us. We support those who are most often left out, including isolated older people and recently-arrived migrant women, many of whom are rebuilding their lives after trauma. We offer care, connection and a sense of belonging to those who need it most.

Touching Safe Ground

Touching Safe Ground is a safe space for migrant, asylum seeker and refugee women to heal, grow and connect.

Through trauma-informed yoga and English language lessons, we support women to feel more at home in their bodies, more confident in their voices, and better prepared for everyday life. Each session provides women with practical advice for their new lives in the UK as well as a chance to build community and reclaim a sense of belonging.

Wellbeing for Over 60s

Wellbeing for Over 60s is a free programme that supports older residents in Tower Hamlets to grow older with confidence, connection and joy.

In small groups, participants learn practical wellbeing tools, build friendships and connect with their community. Designed for those experiencing loneliness, low mood or declining health, the programme offers tailored support that meets people where they are and helps them feel more equipped to face whatever life brings.
